Questions
Frequently asked.
Can you prepare a stability booklet for a ship in service?
Yes. We plan and attend the inclining experiment, establish the lightship, and prepare the stability booklet and loading manual for class and flag approval.
Can you re-create drawings for an older ship?
Yes — where original drawings are missing or no longer match the ship, we re-create them from the vessel, the documents that survive and measurements on board.
Do you design ballast water management system installations?
Yes: support in choosing the system, the arrangement and piping drawings, the structural and electrical interfaces, and the documentation class needs for approval.
Which rules do you design to?
SOLAS, MARPOL and the Load Line Convention, IACS rules, and the rules of the classification society and flag state the ship will sail under.
