How we work
How we deliver.

Survey
Existing drawings collected and the ship checked on board, including the positions of fire-fighting and life-saving equipment.
- 02
Drafting
Fire control and safety plan drawn with the IMO symbols, together with the Fire Safety Operational Booklet and muster list.
- 03
Approval
Submission to class and flag, with comments answered until the plans are approved.
- 04
Delivery
Approved plans printed and framed for the ship, plus the shore copy and the set for the weathertight enclosure.

When does a fire control plan need revising?
Whenever the ship changes in a way the plan shows: a refit or conversion, new fire-fighting or detection equipment, relocated life-saving appliances, or a change of flag with different requirements.
Which languages must the plans be in?
The language required by the flag administration and, if that is neither English nor French, a translation into one of them — in practice the working language plus English.
Do you update the muster list too?
Yes — the muster list and emergency instructions are revised with the plans, so crew duties match the equipment on board.
