Questions
Frequently asked.
What happens if a ship is rated D or E?
A ship rated D for three consecutive years, or E in any one year, needs a corrective action plan in its SEEMP Part III. We prepare the plan and the measures behind it.
Does meeting EEXI mean limiting engine power?
Not always. Many ships meet the required EEXI as they are or with small changes; where they don’t, an overridable engine or shaft power limitation (EPL / ShaPoLi) is the most common answer.
Which ships fall under the EU ETS and FuelEU Maritime?
Ships of 5,000 GT and above carrying cargo or passengers to, from or between EU/EEA ports. Voyages within the EU count in full; voyages between the EU and a third country count at 50%.
Do you handle verification?
We prepare the reports and supporting documents for the verifier or classification society and support you through verification.
